Charlotte and I have worked together on a number of occasions over the years. She knows that as an interim I am always looking for my next assignment and she is brilliant at passing opportunities my way as and when they appear. She is very good at matching candidates to assignments and is always on hand during any recruitment process. Charlotte undertook the recruitment process for our Director of Fundraising role at the Bromley by Bow Centre. Everything about the process was first class. From the outset, Charlotte took immense interest in understanding both the role and the wider context of the charity and our organisational strategy. When promoted to the position of Chief Executive I needed to appoint to my old position and it was natural to go back to Charlotte. She got it right again and we have a great appointee doing great work but the fact is that we could have appointed the majority of the interviewees she put before us.

A amusing aside, one of the interviewees who did not get the job said that being courteously rejected by Charlotte was in some ways a more rewarding experience than getting offered a post by others! She can be relied upon to do the whole job, not just the nice parts.
